Texts of Fall

Hi everyone!

The texts of fall...you know you look forward to it all year long.  There are so many. They are all more awesome than the next. Ah, the texts of fall....

No, sillies, not texts as in cell phones!  Texts as in textures!  Ha, ha - feeling sassy today, I guess. But you know what I mean, fall has so many fabulous textures to it.  The changing leaves, the colors, warm sweaters, crisp apples.  Glorious!

Today I am going to share some of the pretty fall textures popping up in and around the Bluebird household this mid-September.

What kind of "texting" have you been up to this fall?

Thanks for stopping by,
Jane

  1. Very nice fall texts! I have brought out my more subdued colors - muted greens, warm pink and creams into my decor. Traded out my pink and white china in hutch for my brown transferware. Brought out the textured throw blankets for the sofa and chairs in living room. Haven't put pumpkins out yet -- waiting til October for that.

  3. You really did have me at texts, Jane!!! Your home really does have warm colors so the vibrant colors of fall are so suited to your decor. Love your pumpkins...they are my favorite part of decorating for fall. Your home, inside and out is so lovely!

  7. Very pretty Jane. Fall has an exuberance to it, especially in Wisconsin. We used to have a cottage west of Oshkosh and the colors were always so brilliant in the mixed hardwoods of mid-Wisconsin. I love your post, because it reminds me of my parent's cottage and those gorgeous fall weekends. And cranberries, who can pass up doing the Cranberry Festivals, at least once. Grins and thanks for the memories. Sandi

  8. Jane, everything looks so nice at your house. I love all the layers of fall you've added indoors and out. I'm jealous! Would you believe it was 96 here yesterday? Not fall at all.

  10. Hi Jane. I knew exactly what you meant, as that is the only kind of 'texting' that I do. Too old school for all this new stuff!! Your vignettes are so pretty and I love the front of your home. I especially like how you added the plate, plant and towels to that gorgeous basket. Have a wonderful week..Judy

  11. You have done a great job filling your home with beautiful Fall textures! I really like how you did the outside of your home too. It's very festive. I haven't begun adding anything to my front porch yet. It has only just started to feel like Fall around here.
