Ahhh January! Such a month for nesting!!! My head is spinning with all the projects I want to tackle this year.We have been meeting with landscape contractors these past weeks about a major outdoor reno, so I am trying to keep my interior plans on the cheap! And that leads me to today's post!
I have just been doing a little"house" shopping to tweak our master shelves.
I purchased the Ralph Lauren bedding with some birthday$ awhile back. It is a very deep burgundy, almost grape, and reverses to gingham. Love! Our walls are painted a dark Gray/green from Behr.
The picture of the Frenchman was a recent antique mall find. Every bedroom needs a French guy, don't you think? lol!!
I am also displaying a leather bound copy of To Kill a Mockingbird that my hub & daughter gave me for Christmas.
The lamps were once the perfect complement to our room, but with the bedding change now not so much! They may have a date with a spray can one of these days!
Still much to do in this room, but for now I wanted to share a little glimpse. Thanks a bunch for stopping by! What kind of January nesting have you been up to?
Wishing you happiness,
Jane

Hi Jane, I have been busy designing blogs.
ReplyDeleteI want to organize my closet and also paint the cabinets in the laundry room. Your shelves turned out lovely. it always feels good to re-design things.
Your new bedding is beautiful, Jane. That old "snowball" effect seems to happen no matter what kind of project we tackle -- new bedding and all of a sudden the lamps aren't right. That happens to me all of the time!
ReplyDeleteYour shelves look great and I love the pink pieces. They look wonderful with your pretty bedding too. Thanks for popping in to see me.
ReplyDeletebe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Love your traditional decor and your shelves looks so pretty!
ReplyDeleteShopping the house is the best! I love to do that. Pretty room!
ReplyDeleteMorning Jane! Your bedroom looks so cozy. Really pretty bedding, the color combo is beautiful. I love love your headboard. It is just what I am looking for for our room.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you have a full plate with all your redos; also sounds like a lot of fun too.
Looking forward to pics of the outdoor reno!
Have a fun week,
Sincerely, Jeannette
