A Changeup

Hi Everyone!

I switched things up on the little server in the kitchen recently. This area hadn't received much attention since Christmas.  I will be honest, the scale of the vignette is a mess and it won't be staying this way for long. I am just glad to have changed things up for now.

Speaking of scale, the mason jar lamp was a Christmas gift and replaces a larger green lamp. I like the airy feeling of the see through glass and the smaller size will work much better with future vignettes. . I am still looking for a home for the wooden spice cabinet, but for now it's here on the server with some vintage bike licenses and children's Blue Willow plates. It will be moving soon!

I found this small birdseed sack awhile ago and I really like the graphics on it. I was happy this little pot of pothos fit perfectly inside it.

Have you been changing things up at your place?

Thanks for stopping by,
Jane

  1. Hi Jane
I love your vignette! The bird seed sack is adorable and fits your plant so nice. And I think the spice rack looks great where it is , I love how you placed the blue willow plates inside the drawers. Very pretty!

  4. I do so love that wire mug rack. Where did yoou get it from? Also like the ivy in the feed sack too. No changing up things for a bit as we are going to start our living room redo and dust will be everywhere I'm afraid. Janice

  12. Yes, I'm in the mood for change, but mostly because the Hearts are coming down..but Winter decor will stay for a bit. In So Cal. it seems that's the only winter we will be having..Nothing..but we did get one HARD freeze enough to turn a lot of the neighborhood's tree's and plants BLACK! Now we are back to heat...up to 80 degree's! Terrible!
I love the little spice chest where it is..I like everything like it is but like me, you are ready for a change. Me too!
LOVE your home and the way you decorate. The little sack looks great with the Patho's in it! Perfect!! :)
